The Danube Bend is one of the most popular and spectacular canoeing destinations in our country. With its winding route, islands, and surrounding mountains, it easily steals everyone’s heart. After getting on the water, we paddle through the Szentendrei-Dunaág, and between smaller and larger islands, we paddle to our first stop, Tahitófalu. There, we enjoy our prepared breaded meat sandwiches for lunch and have the opportunity to swim in the Danube and relax. Continuing our paddling, our destination is Leányfalu. We dock at the Vadkacsa camping site around 3 p.m., unload the boats, and if necessary, we take the drivers back to Dunabogdány to get the cars and bid farewell to each other with teary eyes.

Meeting

Meeting point: Dunabogdány Free Beach (Dunabogdány, Strand Street 93, 2023) Time: 10:00, let’s meet at the location 15-20 minutes before departure.

Orientation

We will embark together and head towards Tahitótfalu. After lunch and some time for swimming and relaxation at the beach, we will get back on the water and set our sights on Leányfalu.

Departure

Around 3:00 PM, we will dock at Vadkacsa Campsite, unload the boats, and if necessary, we will transport the drivers back to Dunabogdány to retrieve their cars. Then we will bid each other farewell with tears in our eyes.
